Project Manager - Data Archival

Location: Remote - with Travel
JOB DESCRIPTION
Looking for a capable Senior-Level Project Manager for a leadership role within the Agile environment. Candidates must have demonstrable program management experience in the successful delivery of programs, in a predominantly Agile environment, and in using iterative waterfall methodologies in their organization, leadership, and communication. The Project Manager will have to drive both a business and a technology project. Candidates must also have experience in delivering rollouts of hardware deployments to sites across the United States. This position is for Project Managers with senior-level experience who are comfortable and capable of working in a pivotal leadership role within a large company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules
- Establishing and updating project plans and budgets with actual and forecasted reports as well as being able to manage deviations from plan and project parameters
- Conducting project meetings, project tracking and project analysis
- Ensuring all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet customer needs
- Communicating timely project status to all stakeholders
- Managing project risks, developing mitigation plans, and escalating decisions and unresolved issues
- Building and maintaining the master project schedule
- Managing IT project planning costs, schedules, and deliverables to meet business needs
- Serving as project liaison with business units, client interface for rollout coordination, and supplier interface for projects under direct control
- Executing information systems projects including testing, documentation, and transition support
- Assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed
- Managing the integration of vendor tasks as well as tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
REQUIREMENTS
- Senior Level Project Manager experience or equivalent work experience
- Project Management experience delivering large and complex projects
- Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing IT solutions
- Must have experience with the process of getting a project defined, through PLC processes and approval gates
- Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
- Demonstrated abilities in team motivation and delegation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Quality experiences in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of departmental technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
- Able to adhere to PMO quality standards
- A role model and demonstrator of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others
- Comfortable leading large and complex system projects to ensure that quality products are delivered on time and within budget
