DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Business Analyst within the Cost Management team has a high degree of subject matter expertise in ERP and Finance and is the accountable liaison between product management and other support groups such as development and user experience. This position is responsible for business requirements elicitation as defined by product management and, in conjunction with the TPD/TPM and User Experience (UX) personnel, translating those requirements into clear, unambiguous and concise documents that are used as the basis for software development design and quality assurance testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree or 5-7 Years Experience in Business Systems Analyst/ Business Analyst
- 5+ years of experience in relevant area or industry
- Business Analysis, Requirements Management
- In-depth knowledge and Supply Chain experience working with ERP systems specific to Procure to Pay, Requisitions, Invoice, Receiving, Inventory
- System/solution design
- SAFE Agile, Scrum and Software Lifecycle experience
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams(Product Managers), as well as independently
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Demonstrates customer interface/relationship skills and performs well in the Business Analyst role with teams
- Has the ability to provide direction to peer/junior resources Defines high-level application, relationships, flows, implementation of business (processes, activities, functions, information), applications, and creates business and system use cases or functional specifications
- Analyses complex and new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing plans and solutions to customer problems
- Independently creates business requirement documents (BRD) that sets out project requirement including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines
- Focuses skills and experience on projects and oversees acceptance testing, contributes to development of user guides, provides user training, supports the user in development of work processes
- Collaborates with scrum master to track progress of sprints (Sprint log, % difference between user stories planned and deployed)
- Participates in resolving any functional issue in post-production environment during the cutover period
- Works under limited supervision of Sr. / Lead business analysts
- Should have prior experience of working with clients of Retail, CPG, and Logistics industry
- Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts
