Senior Analytics Developer

Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ month contract to hire
Pay rate: $60/hr W2

Job Responsibilities

  • Use your expertise or learn new things to define algorithms and program them to build re-usable solutions (such as derivative tables, stored procedures, templates, custom applications, analytical algorithms).
  • Explore and document learnings about data assets and develop programming methods or techniques to support new initiatives such as prototype development, product roll-out, preliminary execution, and upgrades.
  • Support team validation, efficiency, or organization efforts.
  • Work with multiple cross functional teams
  • Team: 5 people (hiring manager, Data Architect, Data Analytics Manager, Director and Analytics Developer)

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • SQL
  • Teradata (bonus)
  • Stored procedure development (PL/SQL)
  • R programming (RShiny, RMarkdown)
  • Statistical validation/analysis/method expertise

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Design, write, and document complex SQL programs and algorithms (including stored procedures) using Teradata
  • Statistical modeling and validation (R/RStudio)
  • Graphical front-end development (Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI, RShiny, RMarkdown)
  • Professional Services Consulting with internal and external clients

Preferred Qualifications

    • Healthcare Data/Analytics experience off a RDMS
    • SDLC experience/ Full Stack Development experience
    • Lean process methods

Education:

Bachelors degree in a STEM field is required

Master’s Degree in a core STEM field is preferred (ex. Mathematics or Computer Programming) with strong computer programming coursework
