Customs Entry Writer Specialist

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: $23-$25/hour (will convert permanent between $50,000-$55,000)

Summary:

Customs Entry Writer position open for a large, well-established company in the South Charlotte area!! This is a great opportunity that offers many different growth opportunities and career paths internally. This position is mainly Data entry processing as well as some reporting. The right person will have experience with brokerage and working with international government agencies.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Process shipment entries
• Track and trace shipments
• Process Reports – Excel
• Work with field partners to locate any missing documents and account for discrepancies.
• Conduct research to resolve issues, and conduct root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working with logistics/shipping data entry processing.
• Experience working with international government agencies.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong Analytical Skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manager calendar and stick to strict schedule guidelines.
