Contract Marketing Project Manager
Job Summary: CRG recently launched a search for a Contract Marketing Project Manager with one of our grocery clients located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team in strategic marketing initiatives and the management of marketing processes across the organization. This well-known, growing organization offers a great environment, the opportunity to make a big impact, and exposure to key executives. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience leading marketing teams and managing large scale marketing teams with strong creative and analytical skills.
Location: Cincinnati, OH – does require being onsite
Opportunity: Contract – May-September
Compensation: $49.00/hour
Job Description:
- Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules.
- Establish and update project plans and budgets with actual and forecasts and, with assistance, manage deviations from plan and project parameters.
- Conduct project meetings, project tracking and analysis.
- Ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet customer needs.
- The integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders.
- Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong focus on Scope, Schedule, and Budget planning and management.
- Experienced in managing full life-cycle projects, including schedule, risk/issue management and status reporting to various levels of the organization.
- Serves as project liaison with business unit.
- Client interface for rollout coordination, prioritization, and task management.
- Supplier interface for projects under direct control.
- Information systems project execution including testing, documentation, and support transition.
- Tracks performance criteria for project success criteria.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, Master’s in Business or Marketing
- 5+ years of marketing, advertising, design or communications experience, social media experience
- Demonstrated success in problem solving, collaboration and communication
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated history of building out and managing to key KPIs
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify/address problems, and meet deadlines
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively, outside the box
- Exhibit brand leadership and contribute to the team’s strategic point of view.
- Budget-management skills and proficiency
