Overview:

Enhance and maintain AMP’s Core API services (built with NodeJS) for Kroger’s banner platform. AMP’s Core services support many clients such as our Content Management Solution (CMS).

 

Location: Cincinnati, OH, 45202

Contract: 12+ Months (Contract to Hire)

W2 Pay Rate: $55 – 65hr

Job Description

The Senior Full stack Software Engineer will work closely with multiple Software Engineering teams to design, develop and enhance  content management system (CMS). An experience engineer will develop and maintain a web page authoring front-end and its content publishing and delivery services. The Senior Full stack Engineer will work closely with engineering and product managers to deliver quarterly business and technical objectives. Prior experience with ecommerce and CMS platforms will be highly considered.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and uphold Full stack engineering best practices
• Collaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our product
• Work with Engineers from our consumers to build and ship features
• Design a framework for creating services that grows with the needs of the company
• Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issues
• Review app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development team
• Assist in the development of applications & features that will be put on the website, mobile app, and external client apps
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

 

Software & Collaboration Qualifications 

• Follows established architecture patterns and practices used throughout the product software stack.
• Offer suggestions to improve and minimize technical debt
• Solve critical defects both in production and test/stage environments
• Works with QA team to support automated functional testing
• Worked in an Agile and SCRUM environment
• Experience working with an engineering team of 5 or more
• Work with outside teams to adapt and support product use and adoption

 

Minimum Technology Qualifications 

• 5+ or more years of experience with JavaScript and web development
• 3+ years of experience with modern web stacks using ReactJS
• 2+ years of experience with NodeJS building backend services
• Experience with DevOPs, TDD, and the SOLID principles
