A CRG client in the Greensboro, NC area is looking for a temporary Receptionist. The main function of the receptionist position is to greet visitors, handle incoming calls, and perform general administrative duties. The receptionist will also assist Human Resources, as well as other departments with overflow work related to scheduling, word processing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
Contract: 1 week duration
Pay: $12/hour
Primary Tasks/Activities:
- Reports to work regularly and on time.
- Manages the company’s lobby area.
- Answers all incoming calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
- Greets and directs all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates and customers.
- Ensures completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures.
- Ensures that reception desk is staffed 100% of the time while on duty.
- Signs for deliveries when necessary and notifies recipients.
- Handles special administrative projects from Human Resources Department.
- Completes overflow work and assignments from other departments.
- Keeps immediate supervisor well-informed of schedule, activities, results of efforts or potential obstacles.
- Ensures that kitchen is stocked and notifies Executive Assistant when supplies are low.
- Order name plates and business cards for Associates
- Keeps other staff members informed about problems and issues that arise within organization to ensure a coordinated response.
- Keep Associate Directory and Front Desk Training Manual up to date.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to develop good working knowledge of organizational structure, including the names of staff members assigned to different functional groups/departments and their primary areas of responsibility
- Ability to develop good working knowledge of organization/project policies, regulations, and procedures
- At least two (2) years of experience in an office setting with customer service-related responsibilities
