Project Manager

Job Summary:
CRG is looking for multiple Project Managers with experience working with large Enterprise Size organizations to implement Data Networking Technology Projects in Data Centers. The Project Managers will be supporting a Major Bank (Fortune 100 company) and this will be a great opportunity for someone who is organized and is excellent in time management and loves to get things done and working from home (100%).

Non-standard working hours are required (nights and weekend included)

Responsibilities include

• Prepare, Plan, and Deliver using project management methodologies across the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales engagement, to project delivery, through contract closure
• Requirements Gathering
  • Work w/ Engineers & customer to document project requirements
  • Define and collect technical data points required for Project success
• Cost Estimation and Project Planning
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structure to define effort level and amounts to complete project efforts
  • Work with Cisco Engineers to establish critical path
  • Document Project Assumptions and Risk
  • Creation of quote to be provided as a cost estimate to Customer
• Implementation Support
  • Lead/Support implementation cutovers
  • Define and follow escalation plans
  • Document issues and lessons to be learned
  • Communicate project status as required and provide weekly status report for all projects
  • Work to coordinate multiple teams to deliver successful project changes
  • Work weekends and off hours for implementations
• Project Financials Setup, Tracking, and Closure
  • Establishing initial Project Budgets
  • Perform Revenue & Cost Forecasting
  • Perform Risk Management – Calling out risk to the client and discussing mitigation
  • Track Financial Health of Project
  • Follow Cisco Business Policy throughout lifecycle to project closure
• Deliver Projects in accordance with ISO 9000 Policy

Required Experience & Skill Set

• Minimum 3 Years’ experience working with Large Enterprise Size Customers to implement Data Networking Technology Projects in customer Data Centers
• Strong MS Excel Skills: Simple math, Formulas, pivot tables, V Lookups, etc.
• 5 - 8 years’ Experience using MS Project to setup and deliver projects
• Significant ability to communicate with Business terms and Technical Vocabulary
• Must be able to drive requirements and scope definition and drive task delivery

Preferred Experience & Skill Set

• Certifications: PMP(or Prince), ITIL, CCNA, MCSE (In order of Preference)
• 5 - 8 Years’ experience working with Infrastructure Projects
• Prior technology project management experience
• Remedy system for Change Management. Create/Submit/Manage CRQ experience
