  • Establish and maintain service governance across the shared services organization, including key performance indicators, service-level expectations, operational dashboards, issue escalation protocols, and accountability for customer, vendor, and operational outcomes.
  • Ensure shared services activities comply with Company policies, US GAAP, and public company internal control requirements, maintaining a strong control environment and appropriate segregation of duties across credit and collections, accounts payable, and fixed asset transactional accounting.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure appropriate process documentation, control execution, audit readiness, and timely remediation of identified issues.

Process Improvement & Optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation.

  • Lead the assessment and, where appropriate, redesign of operational accounting and internal financial reporting processes to improve efficiency, scalability, control effectiveness, and decision-useful information.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, redundancies, and manual workarounds in transactional processes, benchmarking against shared services leading practice.
  • Own the process improvement roadmap and business case (cost, quality, and control impact) for prioritized initiatives across the three functions.
Future-State Organizational Design & Change Management
  • Work with the SVP, Chief Accounting Officer to assess the current-state organizational structure and design the future-state operating model for shared services financial activities, collaborating closely with the functional leads for credit and collections, accounts payable, and fixed asset transactional accounting.
  • Perform a gap analysis between the current-state organizational design and the desired future-state operating model, maintaining a core objective of ensuring customer service in accordance with Company’s priorities.
  • Develop and lead the end-to-end change management roadmap to transition from the current-state organization to the future-state operating model, including stakeholder communication, workforce and role transition planning, training, and risk mitigation.
  • Work with the HR team to define and execute the steps required to implement the defined organization, including role changes and staff transitions.
  • Track, report, and course-correct transformation milestones and outcomes for senior leadership.
Qualifications:

  • Technology-fluent, with experience leveraging ERP systems, workflow automation, and reporting and analytics platforms to strengthen controls, improve data quality, and increase automation.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives.
  • Change management and program/project management skills (i.e. Prosci, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma) strongly preferred.
