Summary We are seeking a Director of Procurement to lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across Logistics and Supply Chain Services. This individual will develop procurement strategies, lead complex negotiations, manage key supplier relationships, and drive value creation across transportation, warehousing, distribution, freight, and 3PL/4PL categories. The role serves as a key business partner to executive leadership, influencing sourcing decisions, risk management strategies, and procurement transformation initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute category strategies across transportation, warehousing, distribution, freight, 3PL/4PL, customs, and related logistics services.
Lead complex sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and commercial strategy development.
Drive cost optimization, supplier performance improvements, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation.
Partner with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Establish supplier governance frameworks, performance metrics, and executive-level supplier relationships.
Lead and develop procurement talent while driving continuous improvement, analytics, and procurement transformation initiatives.
Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience.
Experience managing logistics and supply chain services categories including transportation, warehousing, freight, distribution, and 3PL/4PL providers.
Proven success leading supplier negotiations, commercial strategy development, contract management, and value creation initiatives.
Experience building supplier governance programs, managing strategic supplier relationships, and driving measurable business results.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, financial analysis, and change management capabilities.
