Talent Specialist | Part-Time
Our Manufacturing & Energy Solutions client in Kohler, WI, is seeking a Talent Specialist to join their team! This person will be responsible for supporting end-to-end Early Talent recruiting by screening internship, co-op, apprenticeship, and entry-level candidates, evaluating qualifications, and maintaining candidate pipelines. This person will also coordinate interviews, recruiting events, offers, and candidate communications. The Talent Specialist will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, HR, and Talent Acquisition Operations to meet hiring objectives, deliver a positive candidate experience, and improve recruiting processes.

Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20-25 hours per week)
Location: Kohler, WI

Responsibilities
Candidate Screening & Recruitment Support
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings for internship, co-op, apprenticeship, and entry-level opportunities.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements and recommend candidates for advancement.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and provide regular status updates to recruiters and hiring teams.
  • Support high-volume recruiting initiatives during peak campus recruiting seasons.
Interview Coordination
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations to coordinate and schedule candidate interviews.
  • Ensure interview details, logistics, and communications are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Assist with interview event coordination and Early Talent hiring initiatives.
Offer & Hiring Process Support
  • Prepare and coordinate offer-related activities for Early Talent candidates.
  • Assist with extending offers and managing candidate communications through the offer process.
  • Move candidates through the recruiting system and into the appropriate hiring requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting workflow documentation.
Pre-Employment & Onboarding Support
  • Guide candidates through background check, drug screen (if applicable), and pre-employment requirements.
  • Monitor candidate progress and proactively address delays or issues.
  • Ensure all required onboarding documentation is completed prior to start date.
  • Partner with recruiters, HR, and TA Operations to support a successful onboarding experience.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Collaborate with recruiters, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and TA Operations to support hiring objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to Early Talent recruiting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, familiar with application tracking system
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting campus recruiting or Early Talent programs.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of recruiting and pre-employment processes.
