Logistics Specialist

Location: Swedesboro, NJ 08085
Schedule: 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
Days: Sunday is always off; weekday off may change based on business needs
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00/hour

Description 
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation and warehouse operations.

This is a hybrid warehouse/office position. You will handle data entry, driver check-ins and check-outs, load tracking, delivery coordination, and other logistics activities.

Important: Candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods in a warehouse environment.

What You’ll Do

• Enter and update customer and load information
• Track pickups and deliveries
• Monitor shipments and confirm on-time delivery
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and account managers
• Take driver check calls and verify load information
• Update customers on shipment status
• Investigate overages, shortages, and damaged products
• Complete required documentation
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments
• Help coordinate transportation and routing
• Provide drivers with directions and delivery instructions
• Identify and communicate issues with loads

What You’ll Need

• 1+ year of logistics experience
• General knowledge of the transportation industry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Ability to multitask and handle changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with reports and business correspondence
• Experience with transportation, dispatch, or warehouse operations
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills
