Opportunity: Contract (6-months, possibility for extension)
Location: Charlotte, NC – Southpark area
Schedule: 100% onsite, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Compensation: $25/hour

About the Role: Our client is seeking an adaptable, service-minded Recruiter to manage full-cycle hiring for a Charlotte manufacturing site. This person will manage approximately 30 hourly openings at a time, partner closely with hiring managers, and provide recruiting support across additional sites as needs shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions, including welders, painters, machine operators, and other technical roles.
  • Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates through phone-based outreach, referrals, job boards, and passive sourcing tools.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to clarify hiring needs, recommend recruiting strategies, and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Communicate timely updates to candidates, including delivering difficult decisions with professionalism and care.
  • Balance multiple requisitions, priorities, hiring managers, and site-specific processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support recruiting activity across other manufacturing locations when business needs require.
  • Coordinate recruiting events and outreach initiatives, including career fairs, university programs, and community partnerships.
  • Track recruiting activity, prepare reports and metrics, and use data to inform hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the recruiting management system.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Outlook to organize hiring activity and communicate with stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in high volume recruiting – highly preferring experience recruiting for manufacturing
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience
  • Basic Excel knowledge
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build productive relationships with a range of hiring managers and stakeholders
