Technical Solution Architect (Enterprise Architect IV – Lead)
Location: Remote
Assignment Type: 12-Month Contract w/ potential to convert to FTE
Compensation: $82.00+/ hourly

Summary
We are seeking a Technical Solution Architect to join our Architecture team and support enterprise-level initiatives across the solution layer. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, cloud-native architectures, defining solution patterns for new business capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems.
The architect will partner closely with Product Management, Business Stakeholders, and Agile delivery teams during PI Planning and throughout the full SDLC, providing architectural direction and technical leadership from concept through implementation.
This role requires a strong balance of hands-on technical expertise and strategic architectural thinking, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design and document scalable, cloud-native solution architectures supporting enterprise initiatives
- Define architecture patterns for APIs, integrations, and event-driven systems
- Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical designs, and solution documentation
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and governance guardrails
- Evaluate technical trade-offs and provide recommendations for optimal design approaches
- Design and support API-driven and event-driven architectures in AWS environments
- Leverage AWS services such as Lambda and integration services to build scalable solutions
- Support high-volume enterprise integrations handling large-scale transaction processing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of architectural designs
- Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to define solution requirements
- Provide architectural guidance throughout development and implementation phases
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices
- Conduct design reviews and provide approval guidance for solution implementations
- Support continuous improvement of architecture standards and reusable patterns
- Mentor engineering and delivery teams on architectural best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Solution Architecture experience
- Strong software development background (preferred C#/.NET)
- Hands-on experience designing API-driven and event-driven architectures
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda and integration services
- Experience working in high-volume enterprise environments (millions of transactions)
- Strong understanding of system integration patterns and distributed systems
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C# / .NET-based architectures
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale integration platforms
- Exposure to AI-enabled or AI-integrated solutions
- Experience in highly regulated or complex enterprise environments
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or large-scale enterprise systems
