Reconciliation Accountant
Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Charlotte, NC (Southeast)
Pay: $30-$35/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Accountant to support the review and validation of financial data across Zoey and QuickBooks. This role will focus on reconciling customer deposits, verifying batch totals, investigating discrepancies, and helping improve the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes. Preference for onsite support, though hybrid flexibility can be accommodated as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile customer deposits
• Verify batch totals and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
• Compare financial data between Zoey and QuickBooks
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between systems
• Identify trends and recurring issues affecting data accuracy
• Help maintain the integrity of accounting records
• Partner with leadership to improve processes and reporting accuracy
• Support ongoing accounting operations and system-related initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong accounting reconciliation experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Able to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution
• Experience supporting system integrations, ERP/accounting platforms, or financial data validation preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
