What You'll Do
Oversee and manage the execution of capital projects ASTM E2307 and E119, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate multiple vendors, oversee procurement processes, and act as the primary point of contact for project vendors.
Support development and implementation of test system processes, including hardware/software design and documentation.
Assist in designing streamlined processes and reducing manual decision points to enhance testing workflows.
Prepare documentation, monitor project timelines, and report progress and expenditures to stakeholders.
Foster a safety-first mindset, adhering to the safety culture in all laboratory activities.
Required Skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong project management skills and vendor coordination experience
Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with ASTM, ISO, IEC, or ANSI thermal, acoustic, or fire testing
Background in engineering or scientific fields
Laboratory experience including equipment assembly and testing
Familiarity with CAD, 3D printing, and programming
Prior experience working with hardware/software for test systems
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
2-3 years of industry experience, particularly in laboratory or testing environments
Hands-on experience with equipment design and test system support
