Database Developer/Administrator
Work location: On premises located in our Charlotte, NC office.
Salary and benefits: $150k-$170k

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Database Developer/Administrator to manage and transform client data while supporting our modernization efforts, including migrating databases, data pipelines, and applications to Azure. You’ll work primarily with PostgreSQL, ETL processes, and SQL in a collaborative, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage client-provided data for development and deployment
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and functions
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines into PostgreSQL databases
• Perform data discovery, mapping, and integration from multiple data sources
• Administer and tune PostgreSQL databases, including cloud-hosted environments
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Work across Windows and Linux environments

Qualifications

• Strong PostgreSQL and advanced SQL experience
• Hands-on ETL design and data integration experience
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

• Azure cloud experience (preferred)
• SQL Server or Oracle experience
• Java application development exposure
• Experience with Docker or Infrastructure as Code
