Junior Data Analyst

We are seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to support data quality, validation, and analysis efforts across the organization. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of data before it is stored or delivered for internal or client-facing use. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with structured data under close guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and validate data prior to its storage and final use by the organization and/or clients
- Apply standard statistical and/or basic financial models to assess data accuracy and acceptability
- Ensure data integrity by implementing data quality and validation checks
- Identify, gather, and enter missing data as required
- Investigate and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors
- Document findings and communicate issues or trends to senior team members
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes or systems and provide recommendations
- Support Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes in collaboration with database or data warehouse teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience
- Solid understanding of data analysis concepts and data quality principles
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow defined procedures and work effectively under supervision
