Human Resources Generalist
Location: Lebanon, IN 46052
Shift Details: Day time shifts
Contract: 10/20/2025 to 01/20/2026 (potential for extension or conversion to full time)
Pay Rate: $32-$35/hr
Description:
The Human Resource Generalist supports the HR function across supply chain operations, including logistics, warehousing, procurement, and manufacturing. This role ensures HR practices align with business goals, fosters a positive work environment, and supports talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers and HRMs to identify staffing needs. Partner with Talent Acquisition on site to discuss qualified candidates.
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding processes.
- Partner with the business to ensure proper introduction to the Leadership teams and appropriate work groups.
2. Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Mediate workplace conflicts and support resolution strategies.
- Promote a culture of respect, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the business on attendance, performance or behavioral concerns on site.
3. Compliance & Policy Administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support audits and reporting requirements related to HR and safety.
- Support workforce planning and succession strategies.
- Maintain HRIS systems and generate reports.
4. Performance Management
- Assist in implementing performance review discussions / processes.
- Support managers in setting goals and providing feedback.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs with Senior HR team.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in human resources
- Need to have an understanding of laws
- Soft skills: good personality, people person, curious, self-initiative
- Always willing to jump in and do/help
- Willing to learn
- Not intimidated by a warehouse environment
- Must prioritize confidentiality
