Human Resources Generalist

Location: Lebanon, IN 46052
Shift Details: Day time shifts 
Contract: 10/20/2025 to 01/20/2026 (potential for extension or conversion to full time)
Pay Rate: $32-$35/hr 


Description:
The Human Resource Generalist supports the HR function across supply chain operations, including logistics, warehousing, procurement, and manufacturing. This role ensures HR practices align with business goals, fosters a positive work environment, and supports talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Partner with hiring managers and HRMs to identify staffing needs. Partner with Talent Acquisition on site to discuss qualified candidates.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding processes.
• Partner with the business to ensure proper introduction to the Leadership teams and appropriate work groups.

2. Employee Relations

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Mediate workplace conflicts and support resolution strategies.
• Promote a culture of respect, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with the business on attendance, performance or behavioral concerns on site.

3. Compliance & Policy Administration

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support audits and reporting requirements related to HR and safety.
• Support workforce planning and succession strategies.
• Maintain HRIS systems and generate reports.

4. Performance Management

• Assist in implementing performance review discussions / processes.
• Support managers in setting goals and providing feedback.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs with Senior HR team.

Qualifications: 

• 1-3 years of experience in human resources  
• Need to have an understanding of laws
• Soft skills: good personality, people person, curious, self-initiative
• Always willing to jump in and do/help
• Willing to learn
• Not intimidated by a warehouse environment
• Must prioritize confidentiality
