Logistics Specialist Summary
The Logistics Import Specialist will be responsible for all duties and tasks related the facilitation and coordination of client orders from locations in Asia to the U.S. and then to final locations within the U.S. The Logistics Import Specialist is the single point of contact for our clients and sales agents. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Opportunity Type: Direct Hire Salary/Compensation: $50,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday 745am-445pm On-Site Location: High Point, NC
Responsibilities:
Coordinate air, ocean, and land shipments from beginning to end.
Consistently update clients with the status of their shipments.
Interacting with clients, freight carriers, and warehouses to resolve issues as they occur with shipments.
Ensuring timely updates of shipment status and updating the transportation system in a timely manner with proper and pertinent information to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience within import logistics coordination, preferably within a manufacturing/distribution organization.
Proficiency in MS Office products, as well as proficiency in written and verbal communication.
Strong outward personality, and the ability to organize and coordinate details.
Customer Service experience gained through in-person or professional B2B experience.
Bachelor's Degree preferred in business related field.
