Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Salary: $105,000
Schedule: Hybrid – onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays, remote Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Travel: up to 15% - unit visits and quarterly finance reviews
Responsibilities:
- Manage preparation of monthly analyses, reviewing revenue, cost of goods sold, labor, and operational expenses to compare against prior year and current budget, with explanations and solutions to mitigate business unit costs or risks.
- Oversee all aspects of client billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and contract compliance across 28+ business unit locations.
- Support month-end close process and validate dashboard data with reconciliations to the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze revenue, labor, food spend, and operational expenses, identifying key trends and drivers to support profitability.
- Present financial results and insights in regular monthly meetings, responding to client questions and building financial trust.
- Oversee client invoicing and review contracts to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Identify billing, collections and financial processing issues within the unit and propose solutions or mediation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, develop financial benchmarks, and track performance against key metrics.
- Ensure operational teams understand financial impacts by providing training, guidance, and financial leadership across the region.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and contribute to new business proposals and financial modeling when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of accounting/finance experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, with ability to use various lookups and create pivot tables.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical mindset.
- Planning and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or CPA.
- Proficient in SAP and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
