Staff Accountant

Opportunity: Direct Hire (Permanent)

Location: Greensboro, NC (onsite)

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000

About the Job: CRG is seeking a staff accountant for a role with a client in the Triad area. This role will handle daily accounting tasks like accounts payable, collections, journal entries, forecasting support, and credit card reconciliation. In order to succeed in this role, you will bring 5+ years of accounting experience, especially within accounts payable, and a strong background of consistent communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and vendor payments.
• Manage collections by following up on outstanding customer payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries into the general ledger.
• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Reconcile company credit card statements and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Help with audits and reporting when needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Accounts payable experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• QuickBooks and MS Excel experience highly preferred.
