Dynamics 365 Data Analyst Compensation: $70.00 hourly Location: Greensboro, NC (onsite)
A Dynamics 365 data analyst is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data within the Dynamics 365 platform, using this information to generate actionable insights and reports that inform business decisions, often focusing on areas like sales performance, customer behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness, while utilizing tools like Power BI and SQL to manipulate and visualize the data effectively; key duties include data collection, data cleaning, statistical analysis, report creation, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify key metrics to track.
Key Responsibilities:
Accessing data from various Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service)
Identifying and addressing data quality issues, including duplicates and inconsistencies
Data transformation and manipulation to prepare it for analysis
Performing statistical analysis using appropriate techniques to identify trends and patterns within the data
Calculating key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business objectives
Developing comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI or other visualization tools
Creating interactive and user-friendly visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
Interpreting data analysis results to identify actionable insights and business opportunities
Communicating key findings and recommendations to relevant teams to inform decision-making
Working closely with business users to understand their data needs and requirements
Gathering feedback on reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business objectives
Ensuring data integrity and compliance with data governance policies
Monitoring data quality and implementing necessary data cleansing procedures
Technical Skills:
Creating and managing data visualizations within Power BI
Writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Dynamics 365
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools like Excel, R, or Python
Understanding the structure and functionalities of different Dynamics 365 modules
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and understanding complex models. In addition, a proven track record of working independently to drive data quality and data normalization is key.
