IT Manager - Infrastructure and Cybersecurity
A CRG client in the Statesville, NC area is looking for an IT Manager that can focus on and develop their cybersecurity and infrastructure.  This company is growing rapidly and offers a hybrid work schedule. 
 
Location: Statesville, NC (Hybrid) 
Compensation: 115-150K

Responsibilities: 

Strategy & Planning
  • Maintain and improve the company’s security architecture design and the security awareness training program along with security documents.
  • Create and maintain the company’s Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Design and implement short and long-term IT strategic plans.
  • Lead department operational planning and projects and organize the allocation of IT resources. Conduct analysis studies and provide recommendations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.
  • Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network performance and providing network performance statistics and reports.
  • Develop maintenance schedules for network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
Acquisition & Deployment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.
  • Own existing technology solutions to improve the Company’s cybersecurity posture, infrastructure, and reliability.
  • Develop business case justifications and analysis for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Oversee the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions and any enhancements.
  • Work with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure technology solutions and services.
  • Assess, approve, and administer all network infrastructure and cybersecurity solution upgrades.
Operational Management:
  • Monitor data residing on company workstations, servers, and databases and enforce company cybersecurity documents.
  • Supervise unusual activity and vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
  • Perform regular cybersecurity awareness training for all employees.
  • Provide leadership and maintenance of the Company’s local and wide area networks ensuring a reliability rating of 99.99%.
  • Lead process improvement within their team by creating and improving procedures and IT governance across the organization.
  • Manage a secure environment based on continuous improvement which ensures that the organization adapts to new security threats as they arise and addresses all applicable cybersecurity regulatory requirements.
  • Create and run reports, as necessary.
  • Manage telecommunications system, intercom communications, call routing, interactive voice response units, voice recording, voice over IP and computer telephony integration.
  • Responsible for the company’s fiber infrastructure including design, maintenance, and repair.
  • Responsible for the system security configuration, the management and auditing the systems to include firewalls, IPS, traffic monitoring and control systems, packet sniffers, log management devices, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, SPAM and virus protection, and external security assessments.
  • Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain regular communications with leaders and staff.
  • Prepare and monitor budget with IT leadership to ensure the budget aligns with goals, guidelines, and objectives.
  • Ensure the company is compliant and up to date on system patches and releases.
  • Ensure that the team provides up-to-date procedures and written documentation to ensure continuity and reliability of the systems.
  • Manage Infrastructure and cybersecurity staff of about 10 individuals.
  • Keep current with technology trends and maintain skill set to implement new technology.
  • Works as IT liaison between departments in achieving the IT goals of the company while demonstrating the ability to influence and get buy-in to achieve desired business outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred. Any combination of education and additional years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT with progressing roles and responsibilities. Experience should include 3 or more years of IT leadership with direct reports.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Microsoft Azure, and Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP) and/or other industry recognized certifications are desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Technical knowledge and all or a combination of the following experience:? routers, switches, telecommunications, server infrastructure that include both physical and virtual (Azure and VMWare experience is a plus) environments, cloud technologies, firewalls (prefer Cisco experience), Microsoft Client/Server/Network Operating Systems/Active Directory, VDI (Microsoft RDS and/or VMWare Horizon)
