HR Administrator/Assistant - Bilingual
Location: Charlotte, NC, Mon-Fri 8-5
Duration: 3-month Contract to potential hire
Compensation: $22/hour W2
Our Florida-based client, a publicly traded designer, manufacturer, and distributor of interior and exterior doors for residential and commercial builders, has been going strong for almost 100 years. With 15,000 employees, the company produces over 100,000 doors a day, which it sells to around 8,000 customers in 60 countries. The organization has won several prestigious awards for its products. With stability and growth top of mind, it has completed a recent acquisition and is continuously expanding its North American Footprint. This individual will provide Human Resources support to the workforce and support the necessary functions within the HR department.
Responsibilities:
Assisting employees with completing forms, troubleshooting access issues with the company HR system or app, and addressing general inquiries about company policies and procedures.
Handle payroll tasks, such as reviewing daily timecards for plant staff.
Track and document attendance occurrences.
Understand and enforce company policies.
Provide cross-training support within the department as required.
Offer Spanish translation assistance when necessary.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, with HR experience preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Skilled in handling sensitive and confidential information with accuracy and discretion.
