Opportunity: Direct Hire Location: Clayton, NC Schedule: Monday – Friday (flexible hours, 1 day remote) Compensation: $150,000 + bonus
Responsibilities:
Develops and communicates workplace policies and programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, equal employment opportunities, compliance, and employee relations.
Develop strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Partner with multiple Human Resources departments to ensure cross pollination and collaboration when it comes to new ventures or shared policies.
Support the maintenance and compliance of human resources information systems and payroll systems.
Plans and directs staffing and organization activities including recruitment and screening of candidates, interviewing and testing, reference and background checks, managing recruiters as necessary, as well as the job offer process. Includes responsibility of prudent management of recruiting costs, internal posting system and updating of organizational charts and distribution lists.
Maintain list of open roles and positions with clear understanding of tie back to budget and timing.
Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies and practices comply with federal, state and local law.
Be a lead ambassador of our culture and shared values.
Manage design and delivery of training programs, specifically regarding our manufacturing team members.
Analyze and develop compensation strategies which include the support of annual increase process, salary ranges and promotions.
Serve as a member of the senior leadership team and provide thought leadership and guidance to your colleagues as it pertains to all things Human Resources related.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
5-7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
PHR, SHRM or equivalent certification preferred
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws
Experience developing and communicating human resources policies and programs for a multi-state organization.
