Job Description

As part of the Application Performance team, you will support Tier 0 and Tier 1 applications using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zabbix, CloudWatch, and Splunk. Collaborate closely with application and middleware teams to enhance performance monitoring, focusing on health checks, logs, and alerts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with application teams to establish thresholds and alerts.
- Install and maintain monitoring tools (Zabbix, Dynatrace, Foglight).
- Oversee daily operations, including release management and log analysis.
- Configure trend analysis and tune system alerts.
- Develop Splunk dashboards and custom monitoring solutions.
- Support incident calls and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Monitor AWS resources and assist with Kubernetes using Dynatrace.
- Upgrade monitoring tools and apply necessary security patches.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for managing PBIs and share insights in team meetings.
- Complete service requests and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Engage in cross-team collaborations and root cause analysis.
- Manage tasks effectively and automate manual processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years as a Performance Monitoring Engineer.
- Expertise in Zabbix, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Foglight.
- Experience with AWS CloudWatch and AWS tools.
- Proficient in Shell Scripting and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with backup, restore, and recovery models.
- Strong multitasking and context-switching abilities.
