Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite 2-3 days per week)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Pay: $50-55/hour

This company’s technology business systems team is currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead multiple development teams through our SAFe Agile journey. This position involves partnering closely with several cross-functional and technical teams to achieve the goal of building, enhancing, and sustaining technology solutions that bring immense value to the business functions. These functions include:
  • Human Resources (HR)
  • Payroll
  • Total Rewards
  • Legal & Compliance
RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on SAFe Agile principles and practices.
  • Support the organization in its SAFe Agile journey by providing training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
  • Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team adheres to SAFe Agile practices and principles.
  • Work closely with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to align on best practices and drive consistency across teams.
  • Monitor and report on team performance and progress, using metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment within the team and with stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Proven track record of guiding organizations through SAFe Agile transformations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification or equivalent is a plus.
