Real Estate Investment Analyst | Development
Summary: Our client, a Non-Profit Multifamily & Commercial Real Estate company in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst on the Development team to be responsible for the financial modeling and analysis of investments. This individual will have direct contact and high visibility with Executive Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, and Senior Associates and will have the ability for merit increases and growth within the organization.
Hybrid Schedule: 2 days REMOTE / 3 days onsite
Location: Charlotte, NC (Dilworth/Central Charlotte – free parking)
Direct Hire Compensation: 
  • $80,000 - $100,000 annual salary, depending on level of experience and overall fit
  • Up to $4,000 in bonuses
  • Up to 4% annual merit increases
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am -5pm, but flexible

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage investment-level detailed Excel models to capture complex capital structures and waterfall calculations.
  • Design and analyze sensitivity models for strategic initiatives, providing clear and concise results.
  • Calculate quarterly and annual asset and equity valuations and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Engage in operational, development, and leasing calls to influence investment strategies.
  • Update and prepare quarterly investor communications and reports.
  • Draft memorandums for the investment committee.
  • Manage documentation related to debt and venture agreements to ensure compliance with covenants and terms.
  • Assist the investment team with transaction-related activities such as exits/dispositions, major lease analysis, and recapitalizations.
Qualifications:
  • 2 -7+ years of experience in commercial/residential real estate analysis
  • Experience underwriting deals
  • Advanced Excel skills, you must be able to create models from scratch
  • ARGUS EstateMaster software is a plus
