Senior Accountant

Summary: 
Our client, a CPA firm established over 70 years ago, is seeking a Senior Accountant. This client prides themselves on offering more than traditional accounting services. They are led by experienced partners who lead and support the professional staff to develop innovative and practical solutions to today’s business and tax problems.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC 
Compensation: $75,000 -$95,000
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. HYBRID

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of GAAP accounting and common procedures in preparation of review and compilation engagements
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Review and prepare monthly financial reports and information such as accruals, forecasts, budgets, trends, and variance analysis
• Active involvement in yearend processes
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedule
• Knowledge of workpaper techniques
• Operational use of Advance Flow or other Engagement software

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting REQUIRED
• 3 years’ experience in a CPA firm REQUIRED
• CPA PREFERRED
• Experience with Auditing
• Fluent in Excel, Word, Adobe, QuickBooks
