Senior Financial Analyst | FP&A

Summary: Our service industry client located in the Northlake area of Charlotte is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team and support the business as an integral team member providing the financial planning, analysis, and reporting to key stakeholders. This individual will report directly to the Director of FP&A, with exposure to CEO, CFO, and senior management throughout the organization. The Senior FP&A Analyst will have high exposure to various teams and executive management with the opportunity for advancement.

Location: Charlotte, NC – Northlake area – Hybrid (3 days REMOTE/2 days onsite)

Permanent Salary: $85,000-$98,000

• Prepare annual budget, periodic forecasts, and monthly outlooks
• Conduct analysis of variances to forecast and budgets

• Preparation and analysis of financial and operational reports (daily, monthly quarterly)

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages
• Perform Income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis
• Provide insightful data and analysis and present to upper level management and executives to help drive business performance
• Respond to Ad hoc requests and projects for internal and external stakeholders
• Help implement best practices; providing reporting and analytics to improve business performance and insight

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in the FP&A function or similarly analytical roles
• Experience preparing and presenting financial data to upper management
• High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with OnBase, Deltek Costpoint, Power BI, and Cognos is a plus
• Comfortable in a fast-paced growth-oriented business
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
