IT Support Technician
6-9 Month Contract
Greensboro, NC (on-site)
Pay: $25/hour+

We are seeking an IT Support Technicians professionals to complete an inventory reconciliation of Microsoft Windows Operating System (MS Windows OS) End User devices. The service requested also includes requirements to ensure End User MS Windows OS devices are configured to meet the compliance criterion prescribed by Information Technology Services (ITS).
It is our intent to ensure all MS Windows OS End User devices inventoried and are configured with, or upgraded to, the Microsoft Windows 10 Branch 20H2 Enterprise OS, and meet the following Security Compliance criterion:

• Active Directory (AD) Computer Account in the Domain
• Properly consuming Group Policy Objects with ALL GPOs processing to allow a login time of less than 30 seconds from password entry until the desktop is available to the end user.
• Configured for Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) updates and Patch Management
• Malware Client installed and configured for updates
• Configured for IEEE 802.1x authentication
• Configured for Wake On Lan (WOL)

Technical Support Technicians -

• Able to install Windows 10 Enterprise and verify configuration.

• Able to install MS Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 and verify configuration.
• Deploy MS Windows updates through MECM and verify proper deployment.
• Able to create and deploy Group Policies Objects (GPO)
• Experienced with any remote-control tools necessary to efficiently perform project tasks.
• Able to follow through with detailed instructions and achieve results.
• Able to maintain accurate tracking of work completed, report issues encountered, and overall project status.
