Public Relations Manager Summary

A CRG client in the Triad area is looking for a Public Relations Manager to join their growing team. This world class company offers the opportunity to be part of a positive culture and a top-notch benefit package. You will be a member of the Brand Marketing Communications team and play a key role in strategically conceptualizing, developing, and executing the public relations agenda and initiatives. You will also manage and host industry press conferences and media events and are the primary go-to for North American media.

 

Public Relations Manager Compensation

• $95,000-$115,000 + 5% bonus

Public Relations Manager Location
Greensboro, NC- Hybrid schedule 

PR Manager Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally to create and deploy the strategic public relations agenda and PR plan Ensure full PR integration in the overall communications initiatives
• Work with in-house resources and external PR agencies to conceptualize, drive, develop and execute public relations initiatives and press releases
• Set the strategic PR messaging and create executive talking points for industry press conferences and media events
• Plan, manage and host in-person and virtual industry press conferences and media events
• Serve as the official media spokesperson and develop official media response policies, Q&As and position papers
• Develop and foster excellent media relations to ensure maximum exposure of the company in relevant media and press
• Closely monitor the fast-evolving digital media and communications landscape and secure maximum leverage of the trends
• Manage media outreach and inquiries

 

PR Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PR / Communications or a related discipline
• Five plus years of professional and “hands on” experience in PR / communications and commercial operations.
• Strong computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Trucking, automotive or transportation industry related experience is of strong advantage
• Working experience in an international corporation in a global business is a plus
• Moderate travels within the US and to Canada is required
