Senior Asset Management Analyst
Our rapidly growing mid-sized full-service Real Estate client in South Charlotte, specializing in Investments, Development, Construction, and Property Management is looking for a Senior Asset Management Analyst to join their growing team! This position will be primarily focused on asset management and investor relations, while also supporting our acquisitions team. The associate will work closely with our acquisitions, operations, and executive team to help analyze performance, report to investors, and evaluate new opportunities.

Location: Charlotte – South Park (HYBRID - 1 day remote and 4 days onsite)
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 + 20% bonus, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of existing portfolio financials, property operations, and capital projects.
- Responsible for the preparation of investor reports and updates on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Correspond with institutional equity partners on existing property performance and updates.
- Monitor property operating results as well as perform variance analysis to explain monthly and year-to-date results as compared to budgets.
- Conduct portfolio analysis to benchmark investment performance and relay suggestions for improvement to operations team for implementation.
- Collaborate with investment associates in financial modeling and due diligence analysis for target acquisitions and current portfolio assets.
- Research and monitor local market conditions including supply, demand, absorption, rents, and vacancy rates.
- Participate in the full real estate ownership cycle: This role would be involved in the purchase of existing facilities and/or land, ownership of stabilized assets, and the disposition of assets out of the portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or another related field
- 5-10+ years of work experience, including 3+ years of recent real estate asset management experience
- Must have financial modeling experience and a strong understanding of financial and real estate concepts such as DCF, IRR, NPV, NOI, cap rates, etc.
- Must possess strong analytical mindset, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
