Leave of Absence Coordinator (Customer Service Representative) – HYBRID schedule!
Summary: CRG has recently launched a search for a customer service guru for a Leave of Absence Coordinator role at a large international client of ours in the Charlotte area! This person will be able to work two days REMOTE and will be responsible for managing calls and emails and obtaining, reviewing and submitting documents from internal employees who need to take a leave of absence from work (maternity leave, disability leave, medical leave, etc.). Opportunity: Contract to Hire!
Location: Charlotte, NC (Airport area) – HYBRID SCHEDULE! (M/F REMOTE & T/W/TH onsite)
Pay: $17-18/hourly to start and $42,000 upon converting permanent!
Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
Training: 100% on site for 2-3 weeks

Responsibilities:
- Manage calls regarding leave of absence in a timely manner.
- Research and resolve discrepancies between associates and leave request.
- Maintain leave of absence documentation, files and data.
- Reviews medical certification to determine leave approval
- Coordination of Salaried Short-Term Disability with Corporate payroll
- Compiles employee data and submits information regarding any state leave.
- Monitors and tracks leave of absences and follows up on required paperwork such as medical certification, request for extended leave, and other required information.
- Works with Unit Managers, Human Resources, and Benefit Team keeping them informed of any employee’s leave of absence.
Qualifications
- Customer Service and Call Center Experience
- Strong Typing Skills with attention to detail
- Must be familiar with MS Office, Excel
