Recruiting Specialist
Summary: Our global client has been around for more than 50 years; they continue to grow and innovate with 5+ subsidiaries. They are looking for a talented Recruiting Specialist to join their team. This position serves as initial touchpoint for all potential candidates in consideration for employment. The primary duties will include sourcing, reviewing resumes/applications, conducting first round interviews, facilitating interviews and regular communication with internal HR departments, and hiring teams to provide updates of current recruitment statuses.
Location: Mooresville, NC – 100% onsite
Compensation: $60,000
Responsibilities:
- Achieves staffing objectives by sorting and evaluating applicants to fill open positions
- Advertising and soliciting resumes from qualified candidates
- Source for potential candidates and take cold-lead approach in contact with those candidates
- Participate in kick-off meetings to ensure all required information has been collected regarding the job profile
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
- Coordinating and conducting hiring team interviews with viable candidates who match job profile as outlined during kick off meetings, coordinating schedules with all relevant participants
- Conduct reference checks on all relevant candidates moving into final round interviews
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent work experience, required.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Recruitment in manufacturing industry
- Demonstrable experience in a recruitment role having had the responsibility for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for multiple positions concurrently
- Excellent computer literacy and application skills to include Microsoft Office and cloud-based applications
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Successful time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity and experience with social media recruiting and a variety of online job-hunting websites
