Associate UX Designer
9+ Months Contract
Greensboro, NC (Hybrid Schedule – Onsite/Remote)
Perform user research analysis to describe user behavior and contextualize motivations and user feedback. Implement design activities and artifacts for product and service deliveries and support cases that adhere to system and brand guidelines to create usable and desirable experiences.
On site work will be required. A flexible schedule can be discussed during time of interview(s).

Curiosity to learn how things work; and, an eagerness to do the investigations to find answers;

Ability to visualize complex relationships of parts or complex concepts

At least 3-years experience solving communication and user-experience design problems for either the web, mobile applications or saas;

Demonstrable understanding of and use of grids, wireframes, task flows/flow diagrams, journey maps and other typical items from ux toolkit

A plus for any of the following: comfortable translating design principles to a print experience; comfortable sketching or drawing; prior experience designing the interaction of software and hardware for the user experience of objects other than a mobile phone or laptop;

A double plus for any of the following: ability to construct moving images experiences in adobe after effects, adobe premiere; ability to construct experiences for virtual reality spaces
Software Skills

Knows how to use a Mac (Apple)

Advanced knowledge of Sketch, Adobe XD or Figma (preferred)

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of coding HTML/CSS; a plus for other programming scripts/languages

A plus for above-beginner knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate—an extra plus for actionscript 3 coding

An extra plus for knowledge of Unity (or other VR software) and knowledge of production for the VR/AR space
