Procurement Analyst

Summary: A large, reputable, and employee-focused CRG client, globally recognized as a leader within the food services industry, is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join their team. The Procurement Analyst is responsible for conducting thorough analyses of both internal financial data and external market research to assist in the creation of informed sourcing strategies and recommendations to deliver competitive advantages for their clients.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Old Whitehall Area)

Schedule: Hybrid schedule (Mondays and Fridays remote)

Compensation: $62,000 - $65,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Complete ad hoc analysis, market trends, and opportunity analysis
  • Maintain accuracy and data integrity in databases
  • Support communication and implementation of program updates, adhering to processes and timelines
  • Assist in budget forecasting and tracking of revenue against plan
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams in support of essential timelines and goals
  • Undertake analytical work linking spend data analysis to the supply market research in order to provide the Sourcing team with multiple scenarios when building out strategies
  • Maintain and report sourcing updates including the sourcing calendar, project tracker, savings tracker, and contract tracker
  • Ad hoc analysis, market trends, rationalization opportunities, and opportunity analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-2 years of data analysis experience
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • PowerBI experience highly preferred
  • Evidence of strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Must be adaptable to change and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Organized with high attention to detail
  • Expertise with presentation and analytical tools, including Excel & PowerPoint to draw conclusions and present recommendations from large data sets
  • Strong oral and written communication with the ability to effectively explain complex ideas and approaches
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
