A CRG client in the Triad area is looking to hire a Digital Technical Owner (DTO). This company is a nationally recognized, growing business that offers competitive pay and benefits. The role is a product visionary who ensures teams are utilizing investments to drive growth and efficiency and help the company deliver on its Full Potential strategy. The DTO co-leads an agile team, partnering with a Solution Owner on the business side to ensure alignment and consistency in product management. The DTO should be deeply familiar with agile processes and product management in both theory and in practice. The DTO owns the roadmap and backlog for our eCommerce fulfillment, customer service and returns process and sets operational objectives for the agile team, guiding them through complex problem solving to ensure the team’s OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are met. The agile team serves the needs of the company’s global B2C eCommerce businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Guides Global Digital Investments based on apparel eCommerce fulfillment industry and market trends and needs
- Knows industry best practices, solutions, and emerging trends; leads the organization in that direction regardless of organizational boundaries
- Partners to develop and communicate the product strategy and product roadmap
- Collaboratively develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business investments
- Works closely with stakeholders to ensure Objectives, Key Results and Customer Satisfaction targets are met
- Onboard key talent and empower and inspire teams to realize their full potential
- Works with Scrum Master to ensure Agile and Scrum practices are followed by the team
- Possesses broad business knowledge and has applied experience in product issue analysis and problem solving
- Communicates at all levels of the organization
- Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the immediate- or short-term operational results of the department.
- Typically, does not have budget or P&L accountability, but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Product Owner experience
- Knowledge of legacy and modern ERP systems (ideally both legacy SAP & SAP S4/Hana)
- Ability to facilitate and contribute to vision and roadmap for global eCommerce fulfillment capabilities including collaboration with senior executive leaders
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process
- Experience with building and managing key integration areas between eCommerce, ERP, and warehouse management systems; experience with modern distributed order management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of enterprise grade eCommerce platforms (ideally Magento 2) and solutions covering post order fulfillment, tracking, communications and returns.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (ideally Manhattan)
- Knowledge of the operations of eCommerce distribution centers.
- Skill in building strong internal relationships with eCommerce business leaders to define and understand strategic and tactical objectives
- Ability to lead and contribute to vision and roadmap for global fulfillment technology
- BS/BA or Master’s in Business Administration preferred
- In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
