Data Platform Administrator

Location: Charlotte, NC - South Park 

Duration: Direct Hire

Compensation: $100,000 -120,000 (eligible for bonus of up to 15%)

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Administrator to lead the installation, maintenance, and support of our client's top-tier data analytics and business intelligence platforms. What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• At least 5 years of systems administration experience, with a strong foundation in infrastructure management.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience administering data analytics platforms such as Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, or Alation.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and workflow automation to streamline data processes.
• Knowledge of ETL workflows, data warehousing, relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), and data connectivity.
• Solid understanding of data security, compliance standards, network protocols, and authentication mechanisms like Active Directory or SAML.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, plus the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• API integration and custom connector development skills.
• Certifications in platforms like Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, or Sigma.
• Support for large-scale enterprise data environments and experience with data governance practices.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated success in managing enterprise-level data platforms and environments.
