Opportunity: Direct-Hire/Permanent
Location: High Point, NC
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 + Bonus (not guaranteed, but has been paid out the last 2 years)

About the Job: The Accounts Payable Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) team in a high-volume environment. You would be a great fit if you have at least one year of accounting experience and are a team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Conduct cost allocation and assist in developing and enhancing inventory systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), GAAP, SEC, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Provide administrative support and assist with audits as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of accounting or AP experience (open to new graduates who are eager to learn)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3-way match processing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft AX 365 or similar ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
