Summary: Our client, an award winning and nationally connected law firm is currently seeking a Paralegal to join their team! In this predominate personal injury practice, you will work alongside individuals that strive to put their clients, employees, and community first.
Opportunity: Direct-Hire
Location: Greensboro, NC
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 + quarterly bonus
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain workers' compensation cases, ensuring accurate client files and case records.
Conduct in-depth research on workers' compensation laws, regulations, and case precedents to support case strategy.
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Act as the primary client liaison, providing updates, answering inquiries, and ensuring clear communication.
Collaborate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to collect necessary documentation and information.
Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations and hearings, ensuring all necessary materials are organized and ready.
Manage scheduling, coordinate appointments, and provide general administrative assistance to attorneys.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certification is preferred but not required.
2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on workers' compensation cases.
Experienced in using case management software to streamline legal processes.
Comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, e-fax, and similar tools.
Skilled in ordering and reviewing medical records to support case management.
