Part-Time Bookkeeper
Job Summary: CRG is launching a search for a part-time bookkeeper in North Charlotte area! This position will have fluid hours based on the clients’ needs and will oversee all aspects of bookkeeping for a group of this advisory firm’s clients, including maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices and payments. If you have extensive experience in bookkeeping, strong initiative, and great interpersonal skills, this could be the role for you!

Opportunity: Direct-Hire / Permanent
Location: Davidson, NC (onsite)
Pay: $25 – $30/hr
Work Schedule: Part-time, hours vary depending on business needs

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain financial records, ensuring confidentiality of financial information and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee salaries and benefits.
  • Monitor and track expenses, categorizing transactions and managing receipts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as directed by the finance team.
  • Support year-end audit and tax preparation processes with necessary documentation and information.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years in an accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Experience working with clients in an accounting, advisory, or consulting firm setting
  • QuickBooks and/or ERP system experience and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Flexible availability to work on an as-needed basis, with the potential for increased hours during busy periods

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
  • Payroll processing and tax regulations proficiency
