Customer Service Representative
Summary: Our transformative logistics client is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative in the Elk Grove Village, IL area. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers, business partners, and drivers. You will play a key role in monitoring deliveries, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues to meet our commitments and exceed customer expectations.
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Duration: 26 Weeks
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
(overtime required during peak season)
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and business partners through phone and email communication, providing timely and accurate support.
- Professionally handle customer complaints and inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved in a calm and efficient manner.
- Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer issues related to deliveries, orders, and services.
- Monitor and track the progress of delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of services.
- Scan haul-away pods and verify stamps to ensure proper documentation and tracking.
- Process order changes, cancellations, and updates to ensure customers’ needs are met promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related experience, preferably in a call center or customer service environment.
