Senior Accounting Analyst
**This role requires candidates to possess an active CPA or be actively in the process of obtaining their CPA (at least 1-2 exams passed).

CRG is launching a search for a Senior Accounting Analyst with our global, Fortune 500 client! If you have a couple of busy seasons under your belt in public accounting and are looking to break into industry, this is the role for you. As part of this dynamic team with strong growth potential, you will manage reserve analysis, oversight of the balance sheet, and corporate reconciliations. Location: Charlotte, NC (SW)
Schedule: Hybrid (Mondays + Fridays Remote!)

Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis over specific balance sheet reserve accounts
  • Reconcile balance sheets, ensuring they are timely, clear, and accurate
  • Facilitate review of balance sheet reconciliations and hold monthly meetings with other accounting departments and sectors to support the oversight of the corporate balance sheet
  • Establish and maintain policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of monthly accounting close activities, collaborating with business partners to ensure successful close
  • Assist in annual audit, providing requested reports and schedules
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 
  • CPA/CPA Candidate 
  • 3+ years of accounting/finance experience (public accounting and/or industry) 
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Power Platform / process automation experience
  • SAP & Hyperion/Essbase experience
  • 2+ years Public Accounting experience
  • MS in Accounting
  • Experience with a billion-dollar company
