Salary: $55,000 – $60,000

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Enter and reconcile clients' monthly bookkeeping, maintaining accurate records for all transactions, journal entries, and invoices.
- Conduct weekly and month-end reconciliations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, resolving any discrepancies promptly, and ensuring all accounts are balanced.
- Monitor and manage all journal entries, adjustments, and accruals, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
- Prepare sales tax reports, and well as weekly reports to provide insights into financial standing and performance.
- Communicate directly with owners and staff to ensure all accounting practices are in compliance.
- Assist with payroll-related inquiries and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with CPAs to generate necessary reports and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in tax or bookkeeping
- Experience working at a CPA firm
- Associate’s degree
- QuickBooks or Sage preferred
