Accountant

They are searching for a passionate Accountant to join their team to assist in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting efforts while working alongside the Controller to improve processes and controls. Opportunity:

• Contract-To-Hire
• Durham, Mebane, Burlington Area
• $37-$40/hr Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting efforts while completing review of month-end controls and intercompany reconciliations.
• Serve as business partner to the Controller to other depts while assisting and tracking continuous improvement.
• Assist in investment request processes regarding validation of assumptions, preparation, and submissions while managing KPI reporting and process improvements.
• Conduct analysis of Month-End financials while preparing Month-End results to be presented to upper management and corporate teams.
• Assist in consolidating data and supporting risks and opportunities while identifying opportunities for cost reductions and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3 or more years of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite products, SAP, and SAP Bi tools.
• Passionate team-player who can roll up their sleeves and maintain a continuous improvement mentality.
