Human Resources Generalist
CRG is launching a search for an HR Generalist for a client in Stanley, VA. This professional will focus on some administrative tasks, assist with recruiting for hourly positions, participate in employee engagement activities, address routine employee questions, and assist with a wide variety of other HR generalist activities. This client is a worldwide manufacturer and has been in business for almost 100 years! Come join this collaborative, tight knit team!

Opportunity: Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $26.45/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Support recruiting efforts for hourly positions, including sourcing and screening candidates.
  • Coordinate calendars, appointments, schedules, meetings, and onsite interviews efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in crafting and promoting an employer brand within the community to meet ongoing recruiting needs.
  • Participate in employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment and enhance team cohesion.
  • File and maintain employee records
  • Utilize HR knowledge and rapport with employees to answer general HR queries
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting HR functions, preferably in manufacturing/distribution
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Workday or similar platforms
