Construction Project Manager

 

Summary:

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team! Our client serves both public and private sectors throughout North Carolina, and are known to pride themselves on quality, dependability, and meeting deadlines. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and scheduling projects, coordinating with foremen, ordering materials, and gathering subcontractors. • $80,000-$120,000 BOE

Responsibilities:

• Schedule projects and determine budget time required to meet deadlines while directing and supervising workers.
• Inspect and review projects to maintain compliance with safety codes and additional regulations; Ensure all permits and licenses are secured.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates while reporting on cost and progress.
• Discuss work procedures, complaints, and construction problems with project superintendent, contractors, and other personnel.
• Evaluate construction methods while determining cost-effectiveness of plans.
• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at site to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
• Study job requirements to determine the best construction method.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a construction Project Manager with heavy highway/roadway construction experience.
• Civil Engineering degree preferred.
• Ability to read plans, with sharp detail-orientation.
• Experience in SAGE100, HCSS Heavy Bid, and basic construction software’s preferred.
