HR Consultant | Workday 
Summary: CRG is partnered with a large American retail company with over 100 years of service in the search for an HR Consultant to join their team. In this role you will be working remotely to implement Workday as the new applicant tracking system. This includes transitioning from the existing applicant tracking system and managing cutover/transition activities for several vendors. 

Opportunity Type: Contract through December 2023 with possibility to extend
Compensation: $100.00 - $150.00/hour (dependent on experience)
Location: 100% REMOTE

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a detailed cutover plan and checklist for transitioning from legacy systems to Workday.
  • Define cutover stage gates, and the entry and exit criteria for each gate (e.g., Go/No Go gates).
  • Lead and connect all parties involved in the cutover activities including project workstream leads/team members, financial and administrative process owners, and other subject matter experts to ensure the creation of a comprehensive plan.
  • Partner with business process owners and team members to identify key considerations, dependencies, and cutover/cutoff dates for impacted processes.
  • Collaborate with implementation partner to define activities and the sequence of steps for the tenant build, including but not limited to migration of business process definitions, security policies, security groups, reports and integrations to the production tenant.
  • Partner with the conversion team to identify and sequence data conversion loads into the production tenant.
  • Partner with the Functional Team to develop schedule and timeline for the validation of data loaded to the production tenant.
  • Clearly define and communicate roles and responsibilities across the team as they related to cutover planning, and the execution of each step in the cutover plan.
  • Partner with the project and institutional technical teams to develop the cutover schedules and sequencing for the preparation/readiness of all technical environments including but not limited to tenants, data warehouse instances, file servers, integration service platform and other technical infrastructure.
  • Partner with functional and technical leads to estimate the resources required to execute cutover activities.
  • Identify, track, and escalate risks related to cutover.
  • Provide cutover planning status reports on a weekly basis.
  • Provide cutover execution status reports to project leadership daily.
  • Present cutover materials during leadership and stakeholder meetings as needed.
Required:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Workday ERP systems.
  • Cutover planning experience.
  • Consultative ability to analyze business needs, develop and document business requirements, prototype, develop, and implement solutions.
  • Workday certifications preferred, but not required.
